RALLY REPORT - PELERINE Pelerine was the second rally to take place this season. I'm pleased to say it was a great success. A very pretty site, Pelerine made a great base to visit Newent, Ledbury and Ross on Wye. All lovely old towns. Saturday evening we visited the Kings Arms for a group meal out. The food was good and the evening was a very enjoyable few hours. Flag on Sunday afternoon saw us eating many more cakes than were probably good for us, followed by a game called Molkky. Not many of us had heard of it before but great fun. Everyone is now looking forward to Lychett Manor. See you there!
RALLY REPORT - MINNOWS The new rallying season got off to a great start at Minnows. Despite it only being a short while (October) since we last rallied there. Eght vans enjoyed the area despite the weather on Friday getting us off to a cold and windy start. Saturday however was beautiful with warm sunny weather. It started with Flag. An egg and bacon bap started the day, thanks to Ian and Gill our chefs. After breakfast everyone went their own ways. Some to visit National Trust properties, some meeting families and others heading off to different nearby towns. The day ended in the same way it had begun with everyone on the Rally plus visitors having a meal at the Globe Inn. Good food and good company made it a very enjoyable weekend. Many thanks to our Marshals, Ian and Gill.
COMMITTEE UPDATE I am very pleased to tell you that Mandy Morgan will be joining our committee as Rally Secretary. Many thanks to Mandy for volunteering. It will be good to have her views on the committee.
